I finally found the picture on my works server of me at commanders call. This is me receiving the achievement medal for the stuff i did when i was deployed in Qatar. The lady is not just any lady but my commander Lt Col Bridges, she's usually pretty nice unless you show up late to something like commanders call. Notice my two stripes on my sleeve (rank A1c). she has nothing on her sleeve because officers where their rank on their collar. The patch right under my collar is our new squadron patch, it's a Pegasus and a lightning bolt, but basically all you need to know is that it tells you what squadron your from. The other patch under my collar on my right side (small and oval shaped) is my maintenance badge, it tells you what kind of job i have. The patch on my pocket with the Ziggy zags is a badge i get just for being at Offutt, it says "Videmus Omnia" which means "we see all" in Latin i believe. (in our job we see all by way of signal collection). Also notice I'm wearing a black shirt underneath and then a brown shirt over that and then my uniform......"why?" you ask....because it's tooo stinking cold in Nebraska. The guy behind me is one of my co-workers, he also looks like the red headed version of my Friend Ron back home. I feel a little spoiled to have been able to get this medal, there are not many airman with this medal, and all i did was push a few buttons. oh ya, my face may not be red in the picture but after the photo I proceeded to be stupid and I forgot to go back to my seat. I was a little nervous.
