April 21st: i woke up early and deciced to go to a wildlife safari about 30 min. away. i had been wanting go for a while just to check it out. i was origionally going to go with a girl i met down in lincoln, but i haven't had the time to see her for a while, and im baisically giving up for a while. it will be nice to not stress about not having a girlfriend for a while. it didn't seem too healthy that my weekends started to turn into some type of perpetual cycle, wich ended in falling into a slight depression every sunday night as i replay my game i brought to the playing field. so yes it will be nice to actually forget and just enjoy my weekends, besides a lot of happiness can come my way if i let it. the way i see it, the weather is getting better and better, so i can go into work happy everyday, a certain co-worker is leaving soon as well so things will brighten up. my married buddy here just invited me to go to worlds of fun with him this weekend in oklahoma (i probably spelled it wrong but i don't care) and my other two freinds are coming too. it's an amusement park that people say is fun like better than six flags fun! so that's just what im going to do, have some fun this weekend. im not even gonna look twice at a cute girl i'll probably see at the park. oh and i met a cool guy on sunday. while playing my guitar he asked me a few questions, well he plays drums and wants to maybe jam this weekend, so that's good. i try not to stop and think about how talented i might be with the guitar(i figure it's not my area to worry about), so i really don't at all, in fact i tell myself that im not good enough and i imediately pick the guitar up after that. anyways the drummer said that i was really good, i could tell he was impressed. and other than family members it's only been the second person to be so impressed, so that made me feel pretty good. anyways, i got sidetracked heres the goods:

you can probably see two thin electrified wires in the pic above.

i had a fun time just hanging out with the bear above. i was just about done seeing the whole park and on my way to the car i saw a small trail leading of the main one soo let's just say sometimes im happy with my curiosity because i wouldn't have found this bear. so i walked up to the fence and sat down with the bear, ended up staying there for another hour. people started to gather behind me, they probably saw my bright red shirt through the trees and saw me hanging out with a bear. the bear and i drew a good crowd about 15 peoples or so. it was fun, he was soo cute too. one of the ladys behind me said he was about 5 yrs old. he would hit the ground hard with his paw occasionally, i think he was testing me or something cuz that was the same area the keepers feed them. a wolf also snuck up on me while i was with the bear( the wolf was caged seprately of course, but just to realize how quietly they can move through the woods was awesome.) he watched me for a while and then left. and seeing the wolves only made me want to have one even more. the buffalo were amazing as well, the one above is a pic of the biggest buffalo in the heard they had. he also seemed to be the leader cuz the rest followed where he went. (oh and i was in my car when i came to see the buffalo, cuz who knows what would have happened with me wearing my red shirt and all. lol) well there you have it. can't wait for next weekend how 'bout you?

Ben! You are soooo funny! You had me laughing throughout your whole post. That's so cool about the bear and the buffalo! I'm so proud of you for your guitar skills too! You sound so grown up when you talk about not worrying about girls. Well, you sound like me when I would say the same thing about boys. :) I'm glad that you are going to the amusement park, have fun! Love you and miss you!

Cool Bens. Or is that cool beans? It works either way ;)

This is neat, I'm glad you are enjoying your weekends and getting to see so many cool things and wildlife. You couldn't harm a fly...which is why the bears and wolves flock to you...and cuz you're cute, but you know that already.

Some advice on girlies - it always happens when you're NOT looking for it and the best thing to do in the meantime is have FUN being free and have FUN being Ben. :)
